Pronouns (she/her/hers)
I'm privileged to create a nurturing environment for individuals navigating diverse challenges. My experience spans outpatient treatment, residential substance treatment, and currently private practice.
As a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, I see my role as a guide in your therapeutic journey. My utmost priority is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and client-centered space. My aim is to leverage my expertise and training to facilitate your healing and personal growth. I deeply respect people's narratives and acknowledge the therapeutic process can feel overwhelming yet incredibly fulfilling. Throughout this journey, I strive for openness, genuineness, and empathy while guiding you towards healing. I embrace my true self without apologies and find great value in integrating my authentic identity into my profession.
I hold a license as a Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT123673) and have earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne in California.
With a deep-rooted passion for the helping profession, I have amassed over 18 years of valuable experience, commencing in 2004 within the mental health field, offering comprehensive support, guidance, and advocacy. In 2012, I made the decision to further my education and successfully completed my undergraduate studies in psychology. Building on this foundation, I pursued and achieved my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy in 2017.
Embarking on my journey as a therapist during my schooling in 2015, I diligently honed my skills, eventually obtaining my license as a registered LMFT in 2020. I remain committed to ongoing education, firmly believing in the perpetual process of learning and growth.
In addition to my qualifications, I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT) and proficiently trained in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
