There are a lot of different reasons people decide to seek guidance from therapy. Some of these reasons can be unexpected changes, life adjustments, or even traumatic events that make life stressful and difficult to function in the day to day life stuff. Sometimes life’s challenges become overwhelming, stressful, or make you feel stuck. Perhaps wounds from the past have shown up in the present and its becoming harder and harder to focus, trouble managing emotions, or difficulties in relationships. Maybe you’re feeling sad longer than typical, angrier than usual, or avoiding hanging out or doing things you generally enjoy doing. There are times we seek support in therapy as a couple for different reasons as well; for instance, increasing healthier communication, deeper connection, and growth in a relationship. We seek a space to explore our needs and desires in a neutral and safe environment. Whatever the reason that had you stumble across my page, is good enough reason for you to get the support and guidance you seek. I’m glad you found me and your courage does not go unnoticed by taking that initial step!
